When Is The Best Time To Visit Tasmania? Not June…. Unless You Are One Of The Few Faithful, A Gravel Tragic, One Who Searches For The Purest Experience, The Perfect Road, Framed By The Perfect View, Against A Backdrop Of Personal Examination On The Best Course On Offer Anywhere In Australia, The World, Or Even The Universe.
However, the feeling of satisfaction you will experience as you cross the finish line having felt every physical and mental emotion on course, and still you did not give up, that’s the stuff TRUE champions are made of.

Not June….unless you are one of the few faithful, a gravel tragic, one who searches for the purest experience, the perfect road, framed by the perfect view, against a backdrop of personal examination on the best course on offer anywhere in Australia, the World, or even the Universe.
Tasmanian Gravel Tours and King Miller Events invite a limited number of devotees to ‘The Devils Cardigan’, departing again from the Mountain Biking Mecca of Blue Derby in Winter 2024.
In an attempt to deceive, the 106km course with 2400m of climbing sounds easy. Thoughts of a macchiato by 10am should be dismissed, and instead load up with extra nutrition. The varying road surfaces, the weather conditions and the extended climbs and pinches will test your fidelity to the goddess of gravel.
